During his real estate career, he completed four of the most respected professional designations in the real estate industry:
These credentials represent three separate professional disciplines: commercial real estate sales, leasing, and development; commercial property management; and commercial real estate appraisal. Mr. Lorenzen is the only person known to have attained all four of these top-tier designations in the history of the profession.
Over the past 4 decades, he has developed a side vocation of teaching and writing in both real estate and Christian ministry/Biblical studies. He has taught at local, regional, and national levels in real estate including presenting seminars for the National Association of Realtors and the Institute of Real Estate Management. He has taught real estate courses and New Testament Greek in both state community college and Bible college settings in California and Nevada. Several of his articles have been published in professional journals.
Before starting this "Made Simple" series, he published one prior

He is currently semi-retired, teaching online real estate brokerage and appraisal courses for the McKissock Real Estate School in Pennsylvania. He is an AQB Certified USPAP Instructor with The Appraisal Foundation in Washington, D.C., authorized to teach the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice at the national level.
He has been married to his beautiful wife, Joyce, for 58 years, has one son and four grandchildren, and resides in Nampa, Idaho.
